Grande Escolha is a restaurant where you can taste some of the best dishes of Portuguese cuisine. Its added value is the menu that, in essence, is a trip to the flavors that are in the memory of previous generations and that awake our palate for this or that specialty that we miss so much.
In this fantastic place of restoration, the open kitchen provides unexpected dialogues between myself and clients, so there is always the possibility of surprising them everyday with an original suggestion from a fresh product that just came in from the farm or from the sea that surround this wonderful Hotel.
The service performed by excellent employees perfectly complement the expectations of those who travel to Grande Escolha to make "that special dinner."
Wine are suugested considering an harmonized blend of flavors and aromas to provide a unique opportunity of tasting.
I confess that, after so many years and experiences in Portugal and in several places around the world, I feel totally fulfilled working in this excellent restaurant.
I would also like to mention that there are goals that make us always fight for something that consciously moves us: always exceed client's expectations. It is very rewarding!
Moreover, it is with great pleasure that I note that our guests have preferred, in more than ninety percent of the time, authentic Portuguese cuisine. It thus appears that our cuisine is increasingly appreciated both by foreigners and by the Portuguese. I often observe "repeaters" to come to Grande Escolha for the purpose of assessing our most iconic dishes.
